Cheese, Sage and Spiced Pumpkin Jam Toasties
4 slices sourdough bread
4 tbsp Spiced Pumpkin Jam
8 slices Gouda cheese
1g sage powder
50g butter
2tbsp veg oil
30g butter
1. Place the butter and sage into a small saucepan and gently melt. Remove from the heat and leave to steep for 10 minutes.
2. Lightly brush the sage butter into one side of each bread slice.
3. Spread the Spiced Pumpkin Jam evenly across each bread slice, followed by the gouda slices. Sandwich the remaining slices of bread.
4. Heat the oil and butter in a large frying pan over a medium-high heat. Add the sandwiches and cook for around 2 minutes on each side until golden brown. Flip over and cook for a further 2 minutes. Remove from the pan and serve immediately.
