Pears at their pinnacle of ripeness are soft, succulent and have a ravishing scent. To go with it as a chutney we have saffron. With this fine addition, saffron brings sweetness and floral notes into the mix whilst showcasing nuanced layers of flavour to provide a chutney that is mildly sweet, warm and rich.
Pair with: yoghurt, cheese, caking fillings, charcuterie, toast, desserts, porridge, scones, smoothies, doughnuts, pancakes, crackers, rice pudding, cheese board and so much more!
Ingredients: pear, saffron,apple, tomato, onion, sultana, orange, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cayenne, ginger, vinegar, salt.
